This is an 11 month fixed-term contract located at our client EU Headquarters in Dublin.

Consisting of experienced, motivated, creative, self-sufficient and savvy high performers in the finance and accounting fields, our team handles the core accounting roles at our client facility. We have a preference for those who like to work and play hard and who are enthused about working on collaborative global teams while performing M&A, external reporting and internal audit functions.  
 
Financial Accountant 
For this position, we are looking for a top performer who will be a key contributor in a high-energy growth environment. The ideal candidate is a top academic performer with a desire to excel in everything they do. This is an operational role which requires a "get-it-done" personality.  
 
Responsibilities:  

• Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements for a number of European legal entities.
• Compile information as required for various audits and corporate compliance.  Calculate the monthly transfer pricing entries for input into Oracle.
• Liaise with various departments on the provision of information related to merger and acquisition activity.
• Support the liquidation of dormant entities and update the status review of a number of legal entities across EMEA.
• Vat returns.

Requirements:

• A professionally qualified or part-qualified accountant – ACA/ACCA. BA or BS degree a plus.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and achieve tight deadlines while working under pressure.
• Experience of working in a multinational environment, ability to work individually and part of a team.
• Attention to detail. 
• Knowledge of Oracle Financials an advantage.
• Self starter, assertive and ability to multitask is essential.
• Confident individual who is a good communicator.
