Head of Marketing
Our client is an Irish hotel group with a strong portfolio of National and International hotels and a brand that puts luxury and customer service at the heart of everything it does.
In line with their ambitious growth plans, they are now seeking to make the key appointment of a Head of Marketing.
Key objectives:

  • Build key industry relationships to get the Group as much relevant media exposure as cost effectively as possible
  • To drive brand awareness to as large and relevant audience as possible and in a manner that is effective and in keeping with the brand values that will enhance the groups image
  • Responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive marketing strategy on a short and medium-term basis with input from stakeholders that will enhance the groups image and brand awareness to re-position within the marketplace and drive revenues
  • Develop and nurture a competent, goal orientated, high performing, and stable marketing team that work with key stakeholders to deliver the marketing strategy
  • To develop the Marketing budget and long-term plan with clear goals, costs and ROI
  • Ensuring at all times The Group is getting a positive ROI for the money invested in marketing and its team and being able to track and demonstrate the return
  • Ensure that there is clear and open two-way communication between the marketing team and key stakeholders with regular updates and feedback
  • Being aware of consumer trends to be creative and relevant ensuring that The Group lead the local market being innovative in marketing trends
  • To ensure consistency, excellence, and uniqueness across all brand/consumer touch points and that the quality is in line with Upper upscale products
  • Engage cross functionally to ensure marketing understands the needs of the business and is proactively working towards common goals.



Skills, Knowledge and Experience required:

  • 5 + years of Experience at a senior marketing level
  • Persuasive communicator
  • Inspiring leader/manager
  • Goal and results orientated
  • Strong mentoring and development skills
  • Commercially and strategically focused
  • Innovative and creative outlook
  • In depth knowledge of multi-channels marketing mediums
  • Technical and operational understanding of marketing systems
  • Ability to anticipate future marketing trends
  • Understanding of local media network
