Job description

A growing boutique financial services consultancy firm, seeks to recruit a qualified or part qualified company secretary in order to support its continued growth.

The role offers a good work-life balance and the firm prides itself on ensuring appropriate supports are in place to facilitate this. It can be predominately carried out on a WFH basis (with some travel for meetings) and the firm is also willing to consider a four day working week for the right candidate

Responsibilities of the role
 Manage a varied portfolio of financial services entities through the accurate preparation and issue of agendas, board papers and minutes for all board meetings and, where appropriate, convening and minuting annual/ extraordinary general meetings.
 Build and manage relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
 Follow up on any issues raised at Board Meetings coupled with regular interaction with clients in order to provide an update at the next meeting.
 Ensuring the filing of all statutory forms and returns are made with the necessary regulatory bodies, in addition to managing statutory books and client files to ensure that they are accurate and up to date.
 Reviewing and drafting documents and department procedures.
 Acting as a channel of communication for non-executive directors, clients and other stakeholders.
 Ensuring compliance with the relevant entities constitutional documents
 Arranging for notarisation and legalisation of documents as required
 keep abreast of developments in corporate governance and company law in order to advise and assist the directors with regard to their duties and responsibilities and relevant matters 
 Other duties as required.

The successful candidate should :-
 Have experience of attendance and minute taking at Board (ideally in the financial services sector)
 Have the ability to manage priorities to ensure deadlines are met
 Be a self-motivated individual who is detail focused and has strong communication and organisational skills
 Be team player who is willing to help and support your colleagues.
 Be proactive, creative and practical in their approach to work and capable of delivering the solutions to clients.

Salary negotiable depending on experience.
